Today's Reflection [Ayah 29 , Surah Al-Baqarah]

It is He who created for you everything on earth, then turned to the heaven, and made them seven heavens. And He is aware of all things. (Quran 2:29)

We all are aware that Allah alone is the Khaaliq. The one and only creator. He is reinforcing this aspect by telling his creations that everything he makes is for us. These are blessings that we can never count. There are numerous things we take for granted and dont realise it. Allah SWT created the earth and he has provided for all our needs and then went on to creating the seven heavens. The earth and its produce and everything in the universe was created by Allah with no difficulty at all. He is all powerful and can do as he pleases.

Allah gave us eyes to see but imagine not being able to blink. He gave us the 5 fingers to use for our daily activities, imagine not being able to use even one finger. We realise it only when we get hurt on any part of our body and we cannot use it any further.

There are many interpretations as to what the seven heavens here mean. And since it is beyond the earth and we as humans cannot speculate and conceptualize and tie one concept to the meaning of these wordings. And he is aware of everything and has knowledge of everything while we do not. This is for us to accept that we cannot know everything and its a part of our humble imperfection.
