Today’s reflection (Ayah 27 Surah Baqarah )

الَّذِينَ يَنقُضُونَ عَهْدَ اللَّهِ مِن بَعْدِ مِيثَـقِهِ وَيَقْطَعُونَ مَآ أَمَرَ اللَّهُ بِهِ أَن يُوصَلَ وَيُفْسِدُونَ فِي الاٌّرْضِ أُولَـئِكَ هُمُ الْخَـسِرُونَ

* Who break the covenant of Allah after contracting it and sever that which Allah has ordered to be joined and cause corruption on earth. It is those who are the losers*

In this ayah three important examples of the bad ethics and behavior of those who oppose Allah's order and choose the path of rebellion are cited:

1)  The covenant that they broke (over here people of book did this wrong) This covenant was reiterated in Allah’s Books and by the words of His Messengers. Ignoring this covenant constitutes breaking it. It was said that about the disbelievers and the hypocrites among the People of the Book.

How can we not take lesson for ourselves?! 

Sometimes we promise to Allah, I will do such and such things (for example 100 nafil salah) in the way of  Allah or something else, when our demand (dua or wish) becomes true, we completely forget to fulfill our promise.I think we are doing the same sin when we don’t keep our promise to anyone it can even be kids. 

2)To cut and separate "the things Allah has ordered to be united". The part of this expression "ordered to be combined" by some mufassir is assigned to special relationships such as dealing with relatives , relation  between husband and wife. The truth is to take and understand this in a wider context. Allah Almighty unites all religions, prophets, books within the framework of the understanding and belief of oneness of humanity, Our Rabb wanted those who had fallen apart, who had to be one and together, to be merged together; He wanted every object and every person to be where it should be, to find that he is worthy. Disruptors ( who do fasad) and sinners (sinners, wrongdoers,kafeeroon ), on the other hand, are busy smashing and separating them.

As a Muslim, how can we differentiate ourselves because of some tariqat, I cannot understand, if we all know our guidance is Quran and we should follow our beloved prophet SAWS, how can we  be in different thoughts ,in different ways💔 but in reality still some people believe in differentiating people according to sects. May Allah keep us in jameea,  Ameen 🤲

At the last ayah we can apparently understand , throughout history, those who disturb the order materially and spiritually, pollute the environment, cause disturbance, pain and disasters, are generally deniers, immoral, oppressors and sinners. Every sin (everything that Allah has forbidden to do and will punish those who do) is at the same time an evil, mischief, destroying the balance and order. Regardless of their purpose, there is no doubt that sinners, those who abandon Allah and become servants of the self and devil, will be looser in the end; because they bought the temporal world with their life capital, deprived of eternal bliss.. It is these people that the Qur’an calls *الْخَـسِرُونَ * (losers)— in this world as well as in the aakhira.

As a matter of fact, if the seed planted in the soil is not watered, it loses its ability to come out from the ground. Allah almighty states the following regarding the issue: إِنَّ الإِنسَـنَ لَفِى خُسْرٍ

By Al-`Asr. Verily, man is in loss. Quran 103:1/3

Allah says, in this surah by a stern warning, that no matter what you gain in dunya, you are actually in loss. Because it is the biggest waste for a person, who has wasted time and life. 

If we look again at how we spend our time and what we spend more on, we will see our mistakes, and of course we will gain  our righteous goal for both dunya by Allah's will.
