You alone do we worship and to you alone do we turn for help

This ayah is so deep in meaning SubhanAllah and even a beginner in Islam can relate to this ayah very frequently. It is declaring the foundation of Islam (monotheism) where we do not worship or associate any partner with Allah. We only fear and hope from him. Our reliance is completely and solely on Allah alone. We seek only his pleasure when we do something and that turns into Ibadah (worship). Relying on Allah firmly is an act of worship in itself. Although it is easier said than done especially during times of difficulties, we need to again turn to Him if we find it difficult to have patience and rely on him. May Allah(SWT) grant us that strength and steadfastness to rely only upon him and not lose hope. Ask him for your guidance, forgiveness, mercy, health, sustenance and the best of gifts, Jannah.

Everyone who asks Him will be granted. Knock on Allahs door constantly as he loves those who ask him always. Allah is shy to turn his slave away empty handed when he asks ( Tirmidhi), hence beg of him alone as dua is the weapon of a believer. He is Ar Razaq (The provider) and Al Wahhab(The bestower). As a believer we believe that whatever condition we are in is a manifestation of Allah's will and He only wills that which is beneficial for us. Seeking his help and making dua for everything in the aakhirah (afterlife) and Dunya (worldly) is a part of the sunnah and it has been said in a hadith narrated in Tirmidhi that "Dua can change destiny". We ask Allah to grant us with the best of the Dunya and the hereafter. Ameen
