Todays Reflection [Ayah 3 Surah Al-Fatiha]


Ω±Ω„Ψ±ΩŽΩ‘Ψ­Ϋ‘Ω…ΩŽΩ°Ω†Ω Ω±Ω„Ψ±ΩŽΩ‘Ψ­ΩΩŠΩ…

The Entirely Merciful. The Especially Merciful.


Just when we thank Allah by saying  Ω±Ω„Ϋ‘Ψ­ΩŽΩ…Ϋ‘Ψ―Ω Ω„ΩΩ„ΩŽΩ‘Ω‡Ω Ψ±ΩŽΨ¨ΩΩ‘ Ω±Ω„Ϋ‘ΨΉΩŽΩ°Ω„ΩŽΩ…ΩΩŠΩ†ΩŽ here we are calling Him by His most beautiful attributes. Arrahmaan Arraheem . He is merciful to all of mankind especially the believers and as we read this ayah we should beg Allah for his mercy. Why? Why is mercy so important?

Our beloved prophet Muhammed (Ψ΅Ω„Ω‰ Ψ§Ω„Ω„Ω‡ ΨΉΩ„ΩŠΩ‡ و Ψ³Ω„Ω…) once said that not even he can enter paradise without Allah’s mercy. SubhanAllah. Then who are we ?

But do not despair my dear brothers and sisters as Allah says His mercy precedes His anger. This ayah is a reminder for us about Allah’s mercy despite our innumerable sins. Just imagine we can lighten the weight of our sins on our shoulders just by saying this verse . SubhanAllah and now that you are light ..what else do we have to think about in our salah. Seek forgiveness and follow the right course as indeed the mercy of Allah is near the doers of the good. Devote your sincere trust in Him that he will grant his choicest mercy to us in sha Allah.

 

Aisha reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, β€œFollow the right course, seek nearness to Allah, and give glad tidings. Verily, none of you will enter Paradise by his deeds alone.” They said, β€œNot even you, O Messenger of Allah?” The Prophet said, β€œNot even me, unless Allah grants me his mercy. Know that the most beloved deed to Allah is that which is done regularly, even if it is small.”

Allah blesses us abundantly and when we thank him sincerely for even a few of his blessing , he increases it ( gives us barakah) in it. How amazing is that? If you want barakah in any thing at all, just thank Allah constantly. Expecting appreciation and gratefulness  from people will only lead us to depression and ill feeling towards others. Pleasing our parents does not only bring happiness to us in this duniya but also gives us great rewards in the aakhira. Part of the perfection of a person’s Islam is his leaving that which is of no concern to him

On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: β€œThe Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: β€œ Part of the perfection of a person’s Islam is his leaving that which is of no concern to him ” A hasan hadith.
