لَا يُكَلِّفُ ٱللَّهُ نَفۡسًا إِلَّا وُسۡعَهَاۚ

Allah does not burden a soul beyond what it can bear

 

SubhanAllah, Allah himselves mentions in the Quran that he knows how much a person can bear, what our threshold is. Then why do we get depressed over that which befalls us, that which is destined. It is only as difficult as u think it is. You are strong enough to surf through this wave hence Allah had sent it to you, have patience n carry on calmly hoping for ajar. You will be surprised at how soon the storm got over.. Indeed Allah loves the Sabiroon ( those who observe patience).

If you are grateful, He will surely increase you in favor (14:7)

  لَئِن شَكَرتُم لَأَزيدَنَّكُم If you are grateful, He will surely increase you in favor (14:7)   SubhanAllah such a beautiful ayah. In our day to day life, usually what happens when we do some one a favor, we expect them to thank us and appreciate us but when it comes to the blessings that Allah has bestowed upon us we seldom thank Allah. Allah blesses us abundantly and when we thank him sincerely for even a few of his blessing , he increases it ( gives us barakah) in it. How amazing is that? If you want barakah in any thing at all, just thank Allah constantly. Expecting appreciation and gratefulness  from people will only lead us to depression and ill feeling towards others. Today's Reflection (Ayah 58-59, Surah Al-Baqarah)

    وَ إِذْ قُلْنَا ادْخُلُوا هَٰذِهِ الْقَرْيَةَ فَكُلُوا مِنْهَا حَيْثُ شِئْتُمْ رَغَدًا وَادْخُلُوا الْبَابَ سُجَّدًا وَقُولُوا حِطَّةٌ نَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ خَطَايَاكُمْ ۚ وَسَنَزِيدُ الْمُحْسِنِينَ And recall that We said, “Enter this town, and eat plentifully from it whatever you wish; but enter the gate humbly, and say, 'Pardon.' We will forgive your sins, and give increase to the virtuous.” (Quran 2:58) فَبَدَّلَ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا قَوْلًا غَيْرَ الَّذِي قِيلَ لَهُمْ فَأَنْزَلْنَا عَلَى الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا رِجْزًا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ بِمَا كَانُوا يَفْسُقُونَ But the wrongdoers among them substituted words other than those given to them, so We sent down on the wrongdoers a plague from heaven, because of their wicked behavior.
