Today's Reflection [Ayah 45-46, Surah Al-Baqarah]

And seek help through patience and prayer. But it is difficult, except for the devout. Those who know that they will meet their Lord, and that to Him they will return.( Quran 46:2) The purpose of this directive is to urge man to develop this quality and to reinforce it from the outside by means of Prayer.  Allah commanded His servants to use patience and prayer to acquire the good of this life and the Hereafter.  The companion  of our Rasool , Umar  i bn Al-Khattab said,  "There are two types of patience: good patience when the disaster strikes, and a better patience while avoiding the prohibitions of Allah." Today's Reflection (Ayah 58-59, Surah Al-Baqarah)

And recall that We said, “Enter this town, and eat plentifully from it whatever you wish; but enter the gate humbly, and say, 'Pardon.' We will forgive your sins, and give increase to the virtuous.” But the wrongdoers among them substituted words other than those given to them, so We sent down on the wrongdoers a plague from heaven, because of their wicked behavior. (Quran 2:59) Allah says in this ayah and remember when I commanded you (the people of Bani Israel) to go to this town, eat and drink in it freely and enter it with sujood (prostration), humbling yourselves and seek forgiveness. Here the word used for seekin...

And of His signs is that He created for you mates from among yourselves, so that you may find tranquility in them; and He planted love and compassion between you. In this are signs for people who reflect.

( Quran 30:21) And of His signs is that He created for you mates from among yourselves, so that you may find tranquility in them; and He planted love and compassion between you. In this are signs for people who reflect. From this beautiful ayah we learn that it is Allah who puts love and mercy between the hearts of any 2 people. If you are in a situation where you cant seem to gain the other person's love , affection or mercy, then this ayah is for you. to comfort your soul. It is vital to remember that even if tried everything in the dunya to win another person's heart, we cannot until Allah puts mercy and love in their hearts for us.
