Significance of Surah Al Fatiha

SubhanAllah we just completed the contemplation of the seven most repeated verses of the Quran. The Surah Al Fatiha. This is a light that brightens the heart of a muslim. This is a dua that comprises of glorifying the exalted, believing and asking him for help and guidance, everything we need to do in order to attain success in this world and the hereafter. Its importance cannot be neglected as β€œwho ever does not recite surah al Fatiha in his prayer, his prayer is invalid "(Bukhari) Allah says, This is for my slave and my slave shall have what he asked for (Sahih muslim 395) If we only understand the wisdom behind the blessed verses of this surah it will only leave us amazed and extremely grateful. As we know people hate you if you constantly ask them for help, but Allah loves us when we seek His help again and again and for everything, He loves to accept our Duas. None of us want to be misguided, by saying this amazing surah and controlling our thought processes in a positi...

Todays Reflection [Ayah 7 Surah Al Fatiha]

Indeed Allah is Forgiving and Merciful (16:18) So, when you are struggling, and then suddenly you see things are becoming easier, that is the sign that Allah is answering you, He is pleased with you.... Know that, Allah's mercy is way bigger than our sins. *Ghadab* means anger, it is opposite of pleasure (Rida) and one of the attributes of Allah. We should fear Allah as though we are seeing Him, it is a way to correct ourselves control our nafs. Allah keeps firm  those who believe in Him. Keep your mind strictly focused on your acts for the sake of Allah, surely little is our reflection toward the blessings and favors of Allah. Whoever of us are striving we are doing it for our own good. Alhamdullilah....  *Could a Muslim go astray?? * Unfortunately, yes! How??? By habitually lieing, hiding the truth...

This is an ayah that sticks very close to many peoples hearts. The ayah gives hope to many and sheds light to many who are struggling to get out of darkness. Allah says he is waiting for us to to talk to him. While he is the most magnificent and the creator of the universe and everything in it and yet he says to us being in this lower status to call upon him and that he is near. SubhanAllah Allah says he is always listening and always waiting for us to call upon him. How often do we take advantage of this kalam (speech of Allah) and call upon him the only one who is capable of changing whatever situation we are in? It doesnt matter if we are always making dua and calling upon him or its our first time to call upon our Rabb. Our rabb promises us in this ayah that he will respond to anyone who calls. It could be anyone who finally picked up his hands even by accident. This ayah is ...

Todays Reflection [Ayah 6 Surah Al-Fatiha]

What does it mean that guidance is only from Allah? What do we, the servants of Allah need to do to be amongst the guided ones? Allah Allmighty decreed stones to be lifeless and plants to be given life only halfway, whilst animals get to enjoy life with no intellect when compared to us humans who have been created with such beauty and honoured and blessed with a mind, conscience , body and soul, making us rank the top amongst the creatures of the Earth.     Allah made some commands and put some prohibitions in front of him.He gave man the free will to abide by these orders and prohibitions - Why? Allah wished to give us (his obedient servants) higher degrees than angels and also grant us eternal bliss. So seek  the guidance as only from our Rabb,  so we can lead straight to jannah without any deviations. And ...

It is declaring the foundation of Islam (monotheism) where we do not worship or associate any partner with Allah. We only fear and hope from him. Our reliance is completely and solely on Allah alone. We seek only his pleasure when we do something and that turns into Ibadah (worship). Relying on Allah firmly is an act of worship in itself. Although it is easier said than done especially during times of difficulties, we need to again turn to Him if we find it difficult to have patience and rely on him. May Allah(SWT) grant us that strength and steadfastness to rely only upon him and not lose hope. Ask him for your guidance, forgiveness, mercy, health, sustenance and the best of gifts, Jannah. Everyone who asks Him will be granted. Knock on Allahs door constant...

Then why do we get depressed over that which befalls us, that which is destined. It is only as difficult as u think it is. You are strong enough to surf through this wave hence Allah had sent it to you, have patience n carry on calmly hoping for ajar. You will be surprised at how soon the storm got over.. Indeed Allah loves the Sabiroon ( those who observe patience).

Todays reflection - [ [Ayah 4 Surah Al-Fatiha]

Ω…ΩŽΩ°Ω„ΩΩƒΩ ΩŠΩŽΩˆΩ’Ω…Ω Ω±Ω„Ψ―Ω‘ΩΩŠΩ†Ω Master of the Day of Judgement  Allah alone is the master of everything. Reciting this verse is a reminder for us that the Day of recompense is real and we need to prepare for it. It is the day when each one will be judged according to Allah's mercy and justice. This constant reminder of the coming of the Yawm al Qiyamah is to help us think about what we have done in the past and need to seek forgiveness for and how we currently spend our time that is worth gaining a reward for and what can we do in our future that will prevent us from the hell fire and lead us to Jannah. True justice will be established only on that day and hence , dear sisters and brothers if you are going through a time of difficulty or feeling despair , Remember life is only as short as we can imagine and our true destiny begins after this day of recompense. Allah will judge each one of us on that day and justice will finally be established by him who is Al Adl. One of the ways t...

He is merciful to all of mankind especially the believers and as we read this ayah we should beg Allah for his mercy. Why? Why is mercy so important? Our beloved prophet Muhammed (Ψ΅Ω„Ω‰ Ψ§Ω„Ω„Ω‡ ΨΉΩ„ΩŠΩ‡ و Ψ³Ω„Ω…) once said that not even he can enter paradise without Allah’s mercy. SubhanAllah. Then who are we ? But do not despair my dear brothers and sisters as Allah says His mercy precedes His anger. This ayah is a reminder for us about Allah’s mercy despite our innumerable sins. Just imagine we can lighten the weight of our sins on our shoulders just by saying this verse . SubhanAllah and now that you are light ..what else do we have to think about in our salah. Seek f...
