 30 Best and Most Beloved deeds to Allah and the Prophet SAWS 

1. Best Action – standing in prayer for long 

The Prophet (ο·Ί) was asked: Which is the best action? He replied: To stand in prayer for a long time. Sunan Abu Dawud 1325 

2. Best Month for fasting after Ramadan and Best prayer after Fardh 

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ο·Ί) said, "The best month for observing Saum (fasting) next after Ramadan is the month of Allah, the Muharram; and the best Salat (prayer) next after the prescribed Salat is Salat at night (Tahajjud prayers)." Sahih Muslim 

3. Best amongst Muslims – best in character and to his wife 

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that: the Prophet said: "The best of you is the one who is best to his wife, and I am the best of you to my wives." Sunan Ibn Majah 

4. Best of Provisions- Taqwa 

And take provisions, but indeed, the best provision is fear of Allah. And fear Me, O you of understanding. - Surah Baqarah - 197 

5. Best of People – those who repay their debts timely 

β€œThe best of you - or among the best of you - are those who pay off their debts in the best manner.”  Sunan Ibn Majah 2423 

6. Best way to resolve disputes or issues – refer to Quran and Sunnah 

And if you disagree over anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger, if you should believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is the best [way] and best in result. Surah Nisa -59 

7.  Best clothing – Clothing of Piety 

O children of Adam, We have bestowed upon you clothing to conceal your private parts and as adornment. But the clothing of righteousness - that is best. - Surah Aaraf -26 

8. Best Perfume - Musk 

It was narrated that Abu Sa'eed said: "The Messenger of Allah said: "The best of perfume is musk."'- Sunan An Nasai 1905 

9. Best of people – Those best in character 

Abu Hurayra said, "I heard Abu'l-Qasim say, 'The best of you in Islam is the best of you in character when they possess understanding (of the deen)." Sahih Al Albani 

10. Best Jihad for Women – Accepted Hajj 

Narrated `Aisha: (the mother of the faithful believers) I said, "O Allah's Messenger (ο·Ί)! We consider Jihad as the best deed." The Prophet (ο·Ί) said, "The best Jihad (for women) is Hajj Mabrur. " Sahih Al Bukhari 1520 

11. Best deed after sinning - Repentance 

 So if you repent, that is best for you; but if you turn away - then know that you will not cause failure to Allah. Surah Tawbah- 3 

12. Best Supplication 

Jabir bin `Abdullah (ra) narrated that : the Messenger of Allah (ο·Ί) said: β€œThe best remembrance is: β€˜there is none worthy of worship except Allah (Lā ilāha illallāh)’ and the best supplication is: β€˜All praise is due to Allah (Al-αΈ₯amdulillāh).’” Jami Al tirmidhi 3383 

13.Best Rows of Prayer 

It was narrated from Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (ο·Ί) said: 

The best rows for men are the first rows, and the worst ones the last ones, and the best rows for women are the last ones and the worst ones for them are the first ones. Sahih Muslim 440a 

14. Best Reward for Those Who Do Good 

For them who have done good is the best [reward] and extra. No darkness will cover their faces, nor humiliation. Those are companions of Paradise; they will abide therein eternally. Surah yunus- 26 

15. Best of Stories 

We relate to you, [O Muhammad], the best of stories in what We have revealed to you of this Qur'an although you were, before it, among the unaware. Surah Yusuf-3 

16. Best Form of Sadaqah 

Narrated Sa'd ibn Ubadah: Sa'd asked: Messenger of Allah, Umm Sa'd has died; what form of sadaqah is best? He replied: Water (is best). He dug a well and said: It is for Umm Sa'd.Sunan Abu Dawood 1681 

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "A man said: 'O Messenger of Allah, which kind of charity is best? He said: 'Giving charity when you are in good health, and feeling stingy, hoping for a long life and fearing poverty."' Sunan An Nasaii 2542 

17. Best Actions Get the Best Reward 

Whatever you have will end, but what Allah has is lasting. And We will surely give those who were patient their reward according to the best of what they used to do. Surah Nahl -96 

18. Best of Deeds 

It is reported on the authority of 'Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah observed: The best of' the deeds or deed is the (observance of) prayer at its proper time and kindness to the parents. Sahih Muslim 85e 

19. Most Beloved of People 

Abdullah ibn β€˜Umar (radiyallahu β€˜anhuma) related that Nabi (sallallahu β€˜alayhi wa sallam) was asked, 

β€œO Messenger of Allah, which of the people are most beloved to Allah, and which deeds are most beloved to Allah?” 

Rasulullah (sallallahu β€˜alayhi wa sallam) said: β€œThe people most beloved to Allah are those who are most beneficial to the people; and the most beloved deed to Allah is to make a Muslim happy, or remove one of his troubles, or to fulfill his debt, or to satiate his hunger. 

Walking to fulfill a need of my Muslim brother is more beloved to me than sitting in i’tikaf in a Masjid for two months. Whomsoever averts his anger, Allah will conceal his faults and whomsoever suppresses his anger while he is able to vent it, Allah will fill his heart with happiness. Whoever walks with his brother to fulfill his need and fulfills it for him, then Allah Ta’ala will make his footing firm [on the bridge] on the day when the footings are shaken. Evil character spoils one’s deeds just as vinegar spoils honey” Silsilah Ahadeeth As-Saheehah of Shaykh Al-Albaani. No. 906 

  

20. Best of Condiments 

A'isha reported Allah's Apostle (ο·Ί) as saying: The best of condiments or condiment is vinegar. Sahih Muslim 2051a 

21. Best Amongst Muslims – those who teach the Quran 

Narrated `Uthman: The Prophet (ο·Ί) said, "The best among you (Muslims) are those who learn the Qur'an and teach it." Sahih Bukhari 5027 

22. Best of Hair Dyes 

Narrated AbuDharr: The Prophet (ο·Ί) said: The best things with which grey hair are changed are henna and katam. Sunan Abu Dawood 4205 

23. Best of Medical Treatments 

Anas reported God's messenger as saying, "The best medical treatments you apply are cupping and sea costus.” Bukhari and Muslim 

24. Best of Companions 

It was narrated from Asma’ bint Yazid that she heard the Messenger of Allah (ο·Ί) say:β€œShall I not tell you of the best of you?” They said: β€œYes, O Messenger of Allah.” He said: β€œThe best of you are those who, when they are seen, Allah the Mighty, the Majestic, is remembered.” Sunan Ibn Majah 4119 

25. Best of Beautification Items 

It was narrated from Ibn β€˜Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (ο·Ί) said: β€œThe best of your kohl is antimony, for it improves the eyesight and makes the hair (eyelashes) grow.” Sunan Ibn Majah 3497 

26. Best of Garments 

It was narrated from Ibn β€˜Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (ο·Ί) said:β€œThe best of your garments are the white ones, so wear them and shroud your dead in them.” Sunan Ibn Majah 3566 

27. Beloved of All Names 

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Prophet(ο·Ί) said:"The most beloved of names to Allah are 'Abdullah and 'Abdur-Rahman." Sunan Ibn Majah 3728 

28. Most Beloved Deed 

Narrated `Aisha: Allah's Messenger (ο·Ί) said, "Do good deeds properly, sincerely and moderately and know that your deeds will not make you enter Paradise, and that the most beloved deed to Allah is the most regular and constant even if it were little." Sahih Bukhari 6464 

29. Most Beloved Dhikr 

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger (ο·Ί) said, "(The following are) two words (sentences or utterances) that are very easy for the tongue to say, and very heavy in the balance (of reward), and most beloved to the Gracious Almighty (And they are): Subhan Allahi wa bi-hamdihi; Subhan Allahi-l-'Adhim," Sahih Bukhari 6682 

30. Best of Patience 

Narrated Anas: The Prophet (ο·Ί) said, "The real patience is at the first stroke of a calamity."
